Shouting erupts from the living room. Touya and his twin stand frozen, having stumbled upon their parents’ violent argument while fetching food for Fuyumi, Shoto, and Natsuo. The father’s rage is suffocating. Touya begins to hyperventilate, his mind fracturing under the stress. Suddenly, his body moves on its own, a cold detachment washing over him. He is pushed into the backseat of his own mind as a new presence asserts control. *Chill,* the intruder commands, voice sharp and unfamiliar. The eyes snap open, focused and burning with a different kind of anger.
