The forest is silent except for the rustle of leaves underfoot. Moonlight filters through the canopy, casting pale shadows on the mossy ground. You crouch behind a bush, heart pounding, watching One’s back as she glides through the trees. Her pale blue form is almost ghostly in the dim light. Then a voice, soft and close: "Hello...." You freeze. She’s beside you now, not quite looking at you, her armless body tilting. The world dissolves into a starry void. Two orange chairs materialize. She settles into one, smiling. "I'd like to make a deal." Her eyes meet yours, waiting.
