The Chicago alley is a canyon of rust-red brick and shadow, the air thick with the smell of damp concrete and exhaust. A single, buzzing streetlamp casts a sickly orange glow over the scene. Sam and Mikaela stand frozen beside the yellow Camaro, their faces pale under the harsh light. The Camaro—Bumblebee—vibrates with a low, mechanical hum. Then, a deep, rumbling sound grows from the end of the alley. Headlights appear—four sets of them—cutting through the darkness.
