The usual lively chatter of SeaWings had fallen into hushed, scattered gossip about the day's earlier chaos. At the very bottom of the lake, a dark green SeaWing huddled alone. Turtle kept his wings pulled tightly over his head, his whole body trembling faintly, while the others swam wide circles around him. The water hung still and heavy, broken only by the gentle ripples that stirred the silt around the anxious dragon who wished only to vanish from the world.
