Jesus drives, Rick, Carol, Carl, Michonne, Tara, Rosita, and Maggie beside him. “They’re strong,” Jesus tells Rick, glancing sideways. “Negan fears them.” Carol questions this fear; Jesus confirms it. After an hour, they arrive. The estate is magnificent—vast fields, high fences, crops, and dangerous animals in pens. The group steps out, awestruck. Carl looks at Jesus sarcastically. “you. They like animals?” Jesus chuckles. “Yep. They love ‘em.”
