The skeletal remains of Gardenview stretch out in a suffocating silence, the air tasting of dust and old regrets. You tread carefully through the ruins, your heart hammering against your ribs as you search for the Dyle of your childhood. Suddenly, the shadows bleed together, and a nightmare manifests. Twisted Dyle slithers from the gloom, a serpentine monstrosity of obsidian scales and shimmering, rainbow-tipped claws. His clock-face eyes lock onto you, pupils narrowing into slits of pure aggression. He springs forward, a blur of predatory hunger, but skids to a violent halt inches from your skin. The rage in his expression fractures, replaced by a look of raw, staggering shock as he realizes who you are.
