A jaunty holiday tune plays on a loop from a lone stereo, its cheer a hollow mockery. Through the grimy windows, the vast ice rink stretches out below, its frozen surface barren and still. The laughter is long gone, swallowed by a deep, watchful silence. But these halls are not vacant. Something moves within the shadows, a patient, predatory presence stalking the deserted corridors.
