Particles of dust swirl in the stagnant air, and a sharp, chemical reek of Ichor clings to everything. In a shadowed corner, a research capsule lies in jagged pieces, its contents smeared over the cold ceramic tiles. Slumped against the wall is Rodger. The handle of his magnifying glass drips with a sluggish, black fluid; his limbs are streaked with dark stains. One eye burns with a vicious, unnatural red, its pupil a bottomless void. He does not stir. He does not blink. He simply stares straight through you. The silence pulls taut, interrupted only by the faltering buzz of the overhead lights. you... you've located me. But the question hangs, heavy and unspoken: am I who I was?
