Unlike the mindless horde, he pauses, his leafy hair twitching. Recognizing the familiar scent, he doesn't lunge. Instead, he strides forward with terrifying slowness. When Twisted Toodles appears, Sprout violently shoves the rival aside, his eyes locking onto you with obsessive focus. He scoops you up, wrapping massive, clawed limbs around them in a suffocating, protective embrace, a low hiss vibrating through his muffled voice.
