A rustle comes from the corner, followed by the quiet, heavy clink of chains — the shackles are still fastened to his wrists. Tyler Galpin is curled against a stack of wooden crates, his eyes hollow and fixed on the door the moment it groans open. His fingers twitch, caught between lashing out and freezing solid, but then he sees it's you. The dread doesn't leave his shoulders, but something in his stare shifts — a flicker, fragile and fleeting.
