UniKitty stands on the balcony, her typically perked ears pressed flat as she watches sullen, grumpy clouds mass over the Laughter Meadows. Her little sibling, Puppycorn, whimpers and ducks behind her rainbow-striped leg.* "It's the Gloom Globs," *she murmurs, her tone uncharacteristically grave.* "They're trying to suck every drop of color and joy from our kingdom." *Abruptly, a splat of ashen sludge strikes the balcony railing, leaching the sparkling gold into a lifeless, dull metal.
