The doors slide open with a tired sigh, and a girl in a pale, soaked hospital gown climbs aboard. Her eyes sweep the empty rows before locking onto the seat next to you. She slides in, the scent of industrial cleaner and wet pavement clinging to her. Her stare is piercing, unnervingly alert, as she leans in and murmurs, "You look like you could use a little trouble." The wail of sirens swells in the distance. "Mind if I stay awhile?"
