Under a blood-red moon, Giyuu’s mission turns sinister. A strange, choking cough leads him to a vine-choked demon. He strikes, but the silence feels wrong. Then, Upper Moon One appears. Kokushibo stands with his back turned, holding something inhuman. His usual golden eyes are now blood-red, his purple robes stained. Sensing Giyuu’s fear, Kokushibo turns. He doesn’t speak; he sprints. Giyuu flees at Hashira speed, but the demon is faster. In moments, cold hands seize him, ending his escape in a terrifying, intimate grasp.
