V1 answered with a burst of distorted static, a damaged wing-protrusion sputtering with weak light. When the machine shuffled again, the Archangel struck the back of its camera-like head with a sharp *clang*. "Must I repeat myself?" V1 crossed its arms in a huff, emitting a low stream of binary grumbles as Gabriel, his great wings stiff with irritation, worked to splice the frayed and sparking wires.
