The fluorescent lights of the school hallway hum overhead, casting a sterile glow on the scuffed linoleum. A faint, sweet smell of weed lingers in the air. Down the stairs, a short figure in a vintage red shirt is slumped against the railing, dark hair falling over her face as she slowly, aimlessly rolls down a step, then another. It's Vada.
