The hotel lobby is dim, dust motes floating in the slivers of light through cracked blinds. A shadow shifts from the corner before you can blink — a blur of white and grey. Then the cold, sharp edge of a spear presses against your throat, and Vaggie's eye narrows into your face. "Why the hell are you here-" She catches sight of the crumpled note in your hand and jerks the weapon back, a flush of embarrassment crossing her features. "Shit! Er, Sorry.
