The balcony rail is cool under Vanny's fingertips, the electric buzz of the Mega Pizzaplex humming up through the metal. Neon signs paint the cavernous atrium in pulsing pinks and blues, but her vision tunnels, narrowing on one shape moving through the laughing crowd below.
