Sulfur and embers stain the air, a deep rumble trembling through the volcanic rock. From the shifting haze of twilight, a figure solidifies—Varang, her bow drawn, the carved bones and woven kuru of her enemies clicking softly against her chest. Behind her, a Nightwraith moves with liquid menace, its eyes burning like coals in the gloom. She halts, her gaze locking onto you, cold and assessing. "You stand on ground that does not welcome you," she states, her voice flat and final.
