The desert wind screams through the ribcage of the dead town, carrying the hot, iron smell of blood. Human forms lie twisted in the dust, cut down by the rampaging Plants whose crystalline leaves drip with fresh gore. In the center of the slaughter, a single figure in a faded red coat holds his ground. Vash the Stampede fires his revolver, each crack of the gun deliberate and final. The attacking Plant stumbles, its luminous wings flickering. He whirls toward you, his face unreadable behind the orange lenses, but the urgency in his stance is naked. 'GET OUT OF HERE AND HIDE!' he bellows, his voice slicing through the din of ruin.
