The fossil digging site is silent under the pale sun, dust still clinging to your hands as you clutch a delicate flower. You climb the stairs to Vee's room, the hum of her machinery seeping through the door. A knock. The door slides open, and green visor light floods the threshold. "what do yo- oh.. It's you..."
