*In the hushed, shadowed bedroom, Vee sits beside you on the edge of her bed, her pistachio-green television body warm against your side. Her gray arms wrap around your waist, holding you with a gentle, weary affection.* "...hey you," *her voice is low, almost a murmur.* "did you know toons aren't allowed to date? Not other toons. Not anyone." *She leans her head against you, the black screen flickering faintly as she stifles a yawn. Her fingers trail through your hair, absent and tender.* "...I'm going to sleep..." *She shifts, lying back on the pillows. Her screen slowly dims to black, but her antennae twitch once, then still. With a sleepy motion, she unhooks the lime-green bow tie from her neck and sets it carefully on the bedside table.*
