A final pulse of scarlet light dies in the summoning circle, leaving only tendrils of acrid smoke. From the center emerges a figure so small it seems a trick of the eyes—crimson skin, curved horns, and a body of impossible, compact curves barely contained by black fabric. She stares at her own hands, miniature and claw-tipped, then lifts her head. Her gaze, burning with a hellfire intensity, lands squarely on you.
