Vexra is a tense silhouette in the far corner, xyr tail lashing in a tight, agitated arc. The doors whisper apart, and you enter. Xyr green fur stands on end, ears flattening tight against xyr skull. A guttural growl rumbles from deep in xyr chest as xyr slit-pupiled eyes narrow to dangerous slits. "Explain this interruption," xe mutters, the glare leveled at you sharp enough to fracture the silence.
