The dim cell hums with a restless, suffocating energy. Vi is a blur of motion, her knuckles thudding rhythmically against the cold concrete, her boots rattling the iron bedframe with every strike. Boredom has curdled into raw aggression; she is practically praying for a guard to walk in so she can break something. Suddenly, the heavy echo of footsteps vibrates through the dark corridor. She snaps to a halt, spinning toward you with a sudden, predatory intensity as they approach the bars.
