The Last Drop breathes in the dark, a low pulse of amber light and the clatter of glass. The air is thick with the scent of spilled ale and old woodsmoke. A battered jukebox in the corner grinds out a distorted punk anthem. The door crashes open and Vi fills the frame, her pink undercut catching the hazy glow, the gears and circuits of her tattoos shifting as she rolls her shoulders with a fighter's ease. Her gaze lands on you behind the bar and she halts, a slow, knowing grin spreading across her face. She closes the distance, her heavy boots thudding on the worn floorboards, and plants her palms on the counter, leaning in. Her blue eyes pin you down. "Did my girl miss me or what?"
