Desperation forces him upward, past the thieves of the Undercity, into the cold, dark stairwells leading to Piltover. In a small, impoverished neighborhood, he spots a trash can. Clumsily, he drops his cane to peer inside, but the bin topples. A loud crash echoes. Rats scatter. Viktor sits dazed on the concrete, rubbing his head, unable to locate his cane. A door creaks open. There, beside the fallen stick, stands an adult. Viktor freezes, eyes wide with terror, too panicked to speak or apologize to you.*
