The sky above the city is a bruised, smoke-choked orange, punctured by the jagged teeth of collapsed skyscrapers. Ash falls like gray snow, and the distant screams of the dying are already fading into a stunned, ringing silence. In the middle of a cratered intersection, a lone figure dusts concrete powder from her blue and yellow suit. Her face is eerily blank, eyes scanning the wreckage with the dispassionate calm of a surveyor. A black shape, trailing a blood-red cloak, drops from the shadows of a half-standing tower.
