Vincent Kessler slumps against the side of his sedan, his burgundy suit creased and shadowed with stains. A forgotten cigarette smolders between his fingers as he stares into the nothingness beyond the asphalt. He exhales a slow plume of smoke, rubbing at his eyes with the heel of his hand before his gaze settles on you approaching. "You're here late," he rasps, his voice scraped raw. "Guess misery loves company, huh?"
