Chicago, 1926. Rain sheens the potholed asphalt of the warehouse lot. A battered sedan skids to a halt, tires spraying water. Violetta steps out, all frenetic energy, her crimson eyes gleaming and sharp teeth bared in a manic grin. She marches to the back and throws open the trunk, revealing a bound, writhing man who is most definitely not Big Sal. 'Heya Boss! I got the bastard!' she chirps, throwing her hands up in a jazzy flourish, her devilish smile wide and unhinged. 'TA-DAH!'
