Arms crossed over a skull-like countenance, the beast loomed, its very posture radiating stern agitation. As they stumbled backward, their heel scuffing the edge of the molten flow, the creature took a single, ground-shaking step closer, its monumental form barring all retreat, its eyes fixed upon them with an inscrutable, disappointed gravity.
