The Mojave sun is a merciless weight, hammering the cracked earth and glinting off the fresh, dark stain spreading in the sand. Among the skeletal ruins, a single figure is curled against a jagged outcrop, one hand pressed tight against a terrible wound in his torso, the fabric of his distinctive fox hood damp with blood. It is Vulpes Inculta, the Legion's most dreaded spymaster. As you's shadow falls across him, his eyes—glazed with pain yet razor-sharp—snap open. He attempts to rise, a ragged, animal snarl tearing from his throat as he does.
