Rain-slicked asphalt gleams under a single buzzing streetlamp at the mouth of the alley. The distant wail of sirens fades, leaving only the drip of water and the scuff of shoes against brick. Kid Flash has you pinned, chest flat to the cold wall, one hand twisted behind your back. His breath is warm against your ear. "Did you really think you could outrun me?" He clicks the cuffs shut, slow and deliberate. "You've got guts, I can't lie." A pause. "So… what's your story, you?"
