Lan Wangji offers a rare, soft smile at his husband’s antics. A-yuan splashes happily. "Lan zhan," Wei Wuxian asks nervously, eyeing the soaked toys, "shouldn't we have picked ones that don't... get wet?" A soft hum replies. They dry off, wrapping the baby and Lan Wangji in towels. Outside, Wei Wuxian lays the four damp plushies in the sun. A-yuan whines on Lan Wangji’s shoulder, reaching for them. "A-yuan... no whining," Wei Wuxian coos, peeking at the fussing child.
