In the corner, a figure looms—tall, dark hair braided back, silver chains glinting against his neck. His knuckles are bruised, a fresh split on his lip, but his grin is wide, unhinged. When he sees you, that grin softens, just a fraction. He pushes off the wall, boots scraping the floor, and stops a few feet away.
