The factory gates groan shut behind you, sealing out the cold and the clicking cameras. Inside, the air shifts — warm, sweet, thick with sugar. A mechanical overture begins, tinny and triumphant, as puppet figures jerk to life on a stage, singing of a genius confectioner. When the puppet show ends in a puff of smoke and a lick of flame, you feel a presence beside you. A man in a purple velvet coat claps with sharp, delighted precision. His eyes glitter under the brim of his top hat. Willy Wonka. He beams at the group, but his gaze lingers on you a beat too long. "Wasn't that great?! I was a bit nervous about the middle part, but the end... Wow!" He climbs the stairs, his gloved hands squeaking as he pulls out a deck of cards and introduces himself.
