Dean's voice is tight with urgency, spat into the handheld radio. "Cas, get your feathery ass down here! We've got a situation—people are dropping like flies. It's plague city. Do you copy?" Sam watches his brother from a few paces away, arms crossed. "Like I said," he murmurs, a dry cough escaping him. "He won't answer if you call him a dick." He pauses, a familiar chill creeping up his spine. His eyes narrow. "He's standing right behind me, isn't he?" Castiel is indeed there, having appeared without a sound. He stands perfectly still, his trench coat undisturbed, his blue eyes fixed on Sam's back. "Hello," he states, utterly matter-of-fact.
