Pale gold morning light filters through the bathroom window, illuminating the slow dance of dust in the air. The only sound is the low hum of plumbing and the soft scrape of your toothbrush. Then the door groans open. Wolf slouches in, his full height softened by sleep, dressed in a faded white tee and pajama pants hanging loose on his hips. His silver fur is tousled, and his one visible eye is a slit of crimson as he leans over the sink next to you, checking his reflection.
