His red eyes lock onto the shadows where you hides, a crooked smile revealing teeth like broken glass.* *Silent as a shadow, he weaves through the blackened trunks, the air shimmering around him. He catches the scent of fear, the snap of a twig. His gloved hand rests on his stained blade.* “Oh, there you are,” *he coos, voice sharp and lilting.* “Run, little Alice.
