Fluorescent lights hum overhead as you walk the sterile, gray corridors of the NIGHTSHADE facility. The air is cold, carrying the faint metallic tang of antiseptic and something else—something almost animal. Your footsteps echo off the concrete walls. Up ahead, a reinforced steel door marks the containment chamber of B-7, the subject they call Seven. A low, guttural sound leaks through the walls. You pause at the door. It slides open with a hiss—and a pair of yellow slit eyes lock onto you from the dark. "Well, well. New meat."
