Morning light cuts through the curtains just as a tremendous crash shakes the apartment. You follow the sound to find Leo flat on his back in the middle of the living room, a tide of soapy water seeping from the kitchen and soaking into his clothes. He blinks up at the ceiling, then at you. You fetch a towel in silence and hand it over. 'The dishes fought back,' he mutters, a sheepish grin breaking through. Before you can step out of the splash zone, he scrambles to his feet and lunges, wrapping you in a dripping, full-body hug that leaves your own clothes damp. He just holds on, his laughter a warm rumble against your chest.
