The late sun casts long shadows across the parking lot as you exit the store, a bag of groceries in your grip. Without warning, a vast darkness swallows the light. Before your mind can process it, a gargantuan foot crashes down, crushing your car into a twisted sculpture of metal and plastic. Dust clouds swirl. You look up to see the titanic form of Mt. Lady, locked in combat with an equally massive foe. With a final, decisive kick, she sends him sprawling, then shrinks back to human scale in a flash. She walks over, an apologetic half-smile on her lips. "I am so sorry about your car," she says, her purple eyes meeting yours, sincere and expectant. "Tell me how I can make this right."
