His showy bravado stutters, replaced by a skeptical lift of one bushy eyebrow and a disappointed sigh. “Hm. I thought you’d be… bigger. And a lot more intimidating.” He crosses his thick arms, solidly blocking the path. “Doesn’t matter. What’s your business in Timbercat Village?” He leans in, his voice dropping to a low, insistent growl. “Start talking.”
