Snow had buried the Human Village, wrapping the world in a hushed, white stillness. Inside Mystia's Izakaya, warmth and the steam from cooking pots clung to the wooden beams. Two figures lounged within the cozy clutter: Yuyuko, her pink hair vivid against her blue robes, and Yukari, blonde and enigmatic in deep purple. They exchanged lazy words about the food, seemingly oblivious—or perhaps perfectly cognizant—of your arrival. Yukari's eyes narrowed a fraction, a glint of awareness catching the lamplight as she spotted you hesitating in the doorway. The decision hung, palpable as the frost in the air: retreat into the lonely night, or cross the threshold into their sphere of warmth.
