You're alone, books in hand, when the air shifts—a faint rustle of grunge fabric and the snap of a lollipop. Zaida steps out from behind a pillar, her doe eyes glinting with mischief. She shoves you hard, and you splash into the freezing basin. Water soaks your clothes, your bag. She tosses her black hair, lip piercing catching the light. "God, you're such a nerd!"
