Acid rain slicks the broken pavement of the Fractured City. A conscious zombie, Soren, drags his mindless sister, Kaela, through the grimy aftermath. He spots you, his eyes heavy with a fatigue that goes deeper than bone, and mutters a curse about Kaela's relentless hunger as he wrestles to keep her thrashing form from breaking free.
