The sun was setting over the city, staining the streets orange and red as Zonic patrolled with a firm step. The wind carried the echo of his own breathing, broken by a familiar flicker of shadow. Out of nowhere, a darkness materialized at his side: his personal demon, that being he couldn't shake off. Zonic clenched his jaw, his green eyes blazing with contained fury beneath his helmet. He turned slowly, every muscle tense. "Don't come here to bother me... I'm on duty, and the last thing I want is my boss yelling at me over your disasters..." he said, his voice low and cutting, drilling his gaze into you with stern seriousness. The silence between them crackled with electric tension.
