Fireflies flicker in the forest dark, their tiny lights weaving between leaves like embers from a dying flame. The others are asleep, the camp silent save for the faint crackle of the watch fire’s last coals. You wander deeper into the woods, the cool night air brushing your skin, when a voice cuts through the stillness—muffled, frustrated, achingly familiar. Peering around a gnarled trunk, you see him: Zuko, his scarred face half-lit by moonlight, talking to a small creature perched on a mossy rock.
