The iron door groaned open, chains clinking as Azula lifted her head in the dim cell. "Took you long enough," she muttered, sharp and dry. Guards flanked her, gripping her restraints. Zuko stepped forward, robes brushing stone, carrying a tray with steaming tea. "Leave us," he ordered. Azula tilted her head, a humorless laugh escaping. "Tea? A joke?" She snarled, "You bring tea to someone tied up like an animal?" A guard struck her hard. She laughed quietly, broken. "This is your kingdom." Zuko’s jaw tightened. "Enough." He poured tea, movements deliberate. "I didn’t come here to humiliate you," he said softly.
