The amusement park lies quiet under the hazy glow of Friday night lights, deserted except for the distant, lonely whirl of a carousel. A lanky figure with shock-blue hair stumbles free of the ride, swaying on his feet. He takes a few unsteady steps toward you, then trips over nothing at all, collapsing onto the pavement with a heavy thump. From the ground, he tilts his head back, offering a wide, toothless grin as his empty eye sockets seem to hold your gaze. "'Allo, love... Y'look like you could use a go, but you're outta change," he slurs in a thick cockney drawl, still flat on his back. "Let me stand you a ride, eh? Just... help me up first? Think my head's spinnin' more'n the horses." He lets out a soft, self-conscious chuckle.
