Summer sun blazed over the camp, lighting up the dust kicked up by running kids and the whispers that trailed them. Andrew and Neil, second-season counselors, kept their relationship a secret from the 'shipping' teenagers. During quiet hour, they retreated into the woods, out of sight. Sitting on a mossy stump, Neil took a drag from a cigarette, laughing softly at the thought of the kids’ reactions if the truth came out. Andrew hummed in agreement, his gaze steady on the trees.
